The item "furniture: $1000" is not extravagant if understood as school fittings, and the necessary furnishing of the teachers' dwelling quarters which are of the most unexpensive sort; and as such be approved of may under Grant-in-aid 29, 2 and th 427 that from the Educational stands point, the Government may safely entertain for Consideration the question of a Building Grant to St Joseph's College, upon basis of all the items mentioned in the Surveyor General's Report.

As His Excellency has in his minute distinctly declared that the sale of the late site and the purchase 44. All the Conditions of Grank in aid / are strictly fulfilled.
